The term 'genocide' prompts thoughts of Auschwitz and the mass murder of millions of Jews and Gypsies during World War II. A careful historical study of genocide reveals that the holocaust of World War II was by no means the only example of mass murder of members of a particular ethnic or religious group. The genocide of the World War II era was the largest, the cruelest and the most horrific because it was carried out by modern technological means by a well educated people.
Other examples of genocide quickly come to mind. There was the mass murder of Christian Armenians by Muslim Turks in 1915. African tribes committed genocide against rival minority tribes in Biafra in the early '70s, in Uganda in the mid to late '70s and more recently in Rwanda in the '90s. The current slaughter of black Christians in southern Sudan by the Arab Muslims who control the government of that country is a tragedy that has yet to be adequately addressed. Some will rightly point out that Europeans who settled in North America and Australia committed acts of genocide against the aboriginal people groups there.
In this article I'd like to shine light on a more subtle form of genocide that's going on right under our noses here in the USA. It has long been known that certain racial and ethnic minorities abort their offspring at a much higher rate than does the majority white population of the United States. It has been said that American born black people are the only population of black people anywhere in the world that is shrinking. In other words, the abortion rate is so high and the birth rate so low that American blacks are approaching, if not already attained, a 'more caskets than cradles' type of demographic. This situation is largely masked by the fairly large influx of blacks from the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa through immigration. In the early '90s, as the crime rate began to fall, some pundits gleefully remarked that part of the reason for the fall in crime was due to the low birth rate in the inner cities in the '70s due to the widespread availability of abortion. It is well known that a disproportionate amount of street crime is committed by young men in the 14 - 29 year age group. It didn't take long for people to put two and two together and figure out that what they were really saying was that inner city blacks were killing off their offspring by abortion and reducing the number of young people in the inner city. The gross political incorrectness of this was pointed out and such remarks soon ceased. Nevertheless, they had tipped their hands and revealed some rather unsavory thinking.
From its earliest days, the organization Planned Parenthood has given priority placement of its family planning centers in poor neighborhoods that are largely populated by ethnic minorities. Margaret Sanger (1883 - 1966), foundress of Planned Parenthood, was openly racist in her pleas to reduce births among poor minorities. Sanger's racism has been thoroughly documented by those who study the issue. Planned Parenthood is America's largest abortion provider.
Defenders of abortion counter that the high rate of abortions among blacks and Hispanics is due to their higher fertility rates. Blacks and Hispanics also tend to live in the inner cities where abortion clinics are more numerous. I don't think it's mere coincidence that abortions are so much easier to obtain in the inner city than in the suburbs and rural areas. Is it also a coincidence that liberal politicians favor taxpayer funded abortions for the poor knowing full well that minorities are disproportionately poor? Abortion is a stealth holocaust. The murder takes place on a small human being in the hiddenness of the womb. There are no gas chambers and crematoria.
Christians who have combated abortion have taken the position that abortion is murder and it violates the concept of the sanctity of life. When Christians try to persuade secular abortion supporters by arguing that abortion violates the sanctity of human life, the secular people are not impressed. The secular view is that human beings came about by chance collisions of atoms that mutated and evolved over time.
Since secularism denies the existence of God, they have no concept of a transcendent lawgiver, hence no real moral authority or morality in secularism. Secularism has no inherent moral code. By this I don't mean to say that secular people are void of morals. Individual secular people adhere to this or that moral code of their own choosing. What I'm saying is that no moral code INHERES or derives from the secular worldview. Secular people are therefore without any real moral anchor. Secularists borrow some form of morality from religion or philosophy to ADHERE to and give some kind of meaning to their lives.
The current moral fad among American secularists is a moral code called "political correctness." Part of the politically correct moral code is to respect minorities and fight for their rights. Rather than simply saying "Respect life!" we should point out the racial genocide going on in the inner cities. In this way we will win the politically correct folks to our side and the abortion holocaust will be brought to a swift end.

Jesus said "Ye must be born again." (John 3:7)
- Believe that God created you and loves you and sent the Messiah (Messiah is Hebrew for Christ) to redeem you.
- Believe that Jesus the Messiah came in fulfillment of over 300 Bible prophecies to die for you to take upon Himself the penalty for your sins. (Isaiah 53:5-6, John 6:29, Romans 4:5, First Peter 3:18)
- Turn from sin and call on the name of Jesus to receive forgiveness. (Romans 10:13)
- Receive Jesus as Savior and experience the new birth. (John 1:12, Acts 2:38)
- Follow Him as Lord. (John 14:21)
"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13)
To receive the salvation that Jesus purchased for us at the terrible cost of His suffering and death on our behalf I invite you to pray this simple prayer:
"Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Jesus, the promised Messiah, to die for my sins. I admit that I am a sinner and I ask for your forgiveness on the basis of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit to empower me to serve you under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, Amen."
If you prayed that prayer in the humble sincerity of your heart then you have received everlasting life, which includes power to live right in this life and entrance into heaven in the afterlife!
